Burra Foods has established a Manufacturing Cadet Program. To ensure the long-term sustainability of the company, a decision was made to recruit young and motivated people from the local South Gippsland area, who are keen to pursue a career in the dairy industry and who have the capacity to grow with the company. The successful applicants will receive training across all production areas of the factory.

On-the-job training will be complemented by study at Melbourne University’s Gilbert Chandler College, where Cadets will complete a Diploma of Dairy Technology. The Program is designed to provide Cadets with sufficient training, experience & skills to fill the role of Production Supervisor.
