CEO/Managing Director/Shareholder

Grant has spent his career in food marketing and manufacturing with a heavy bias toward the dairy industry.

From running his family owned market milk processing company in the late 1980s (Midland Milk, Shepparton) he is currently CEO and Managing Director of Burra Foods.

Educated at Caulfield Institute of Technology (now Monash University) and Harvard Business School. He is married with three children.

Nancy Collins

Chief Financial Officer

Nancy joined Burra Foods in October 2016 and oversees the Finance, Business Transformation, Project Management Office, Strategic HR and Information Technology & Communications divisions of the business.

With over 18 years’ experience in Leadership and Executive Management roles, including 8 years in the dairy industry, Nancy’s experience extends to manufacturing in regional communities with particular commercial expertise in the infant and adult nutritional categories. Nancy’s practical experience is supported with an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, Certification as a Chartered Accountant, a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Business.

Dale O'Neill

General Manager Commercial

Joining Burra Foods in late 2009, Dale has the responsibility for the Commercial division which includes Sales, Technical and New Product Development.

Dale is an experienced agribusiness professional and has represented both owner operated and corporate agribusiness across a wide range of sectors.

He has a Masters in Agribusiness.

Stewart Carson

General Manager Manufacturing and Supply Chain

Stewart  joined Burra Foods in June 2015 and oversees the Manufacturing, Supply, Logisitics, and Procurement divisions.

With over 20 years of experience in the dairy industry Stewart has developed extensive operations management and technical experience with Kraft Foods, but joins us from Bega Cheese (and their subsidiary Tatura Milk Industries) where he managed the milk supply teams (which collected around 650 million litres of milk across Vic and NSW) and maximised milk solids returns across their manufacturing sites.

Stewart is located in Officer where he and his wife and three children call home.

Murray de Jong

General Manager Strategy & Planning

Murray joined Burra Foods in 2015 and currently leads the strategic planning function.

Murray has significant agribusiness experience, working for 9 years at Emerald Grain in various capacities including GM of Strategy and Business Development, GM of Western Region and acting CFO.

Prior to his agribusiness career, Murray worked as a commercial lawyer at law firm Hall & Wilcox and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University.

Murray lives in the Mornington Peninsula with his wife and five children.
