Our Brand Ambassador

Australian Olympian high jumper, Eleanor Patterson, perfectly reflects the essence of the Burra Foods brand: Community, Ingenuity and Sustainability.

Eleanor Patterson

Eleanor Patterson is a homegrown Gippsland girl from Leongatha and one of Australia’s most successful high jumpers. Eleanor first won Commonwealth Games gold in Glasgow in 2014, before claiming the World Championship title in Oregon in 2022. Since then, she has added a Commonwealth Games silver medal in 2022, a World Championship silver medal in 2023, an Olympic bronze medal in Paris in 2024, and a second Commonwealth Games gold medal at Glasgow 2026, where she equalled the Games record with a clearance of 1.96m.

Patterson has a personal best of 2.02m and has consistently ranked among the world’s elite high jumpers. Eleanor is coached by Alex Stewart and trains with his group in Sydney.

The Burra family, including our international partners and customers, and our Gippsland-based Milk Supply Partners, are immensely proud of what Eleanor has achieved in rising to the very top of elite high jumping. Her dedication, resilience and success on the world stage continue to inspire communities across Gippsland and throughout Australia.
