With global demand for cream cheese rapidly increasing, especially in Asia, we are excited to report that commercial production has commenced at our new cream cheese facility in Korumburra.
Feedback on the quality of our new cream cheese products has been excellent, a testament to the hard work that our production and engineering teams have put in to this important project over many months.
At Burra, we are proud of our reputation for delivering quality products into Asia. We have received very strong interest from across all our loyal customer bases there, especially in our oldest market – Japan – and also in China and South East Asia. Customers across Australia are also coming on board.
Importantly, the very first customer orders come from our shareholders, who have been incredibly supportive throughout the planning, construction and manufacturing process.
The launch of our cream cheese facility is another significant step forward for Burra Foods, part of our growth strategy to increase our share of the food service market and work more directly with consumers.
