We’re expanding our capabilities in 2025, with the addition of a new cream cheese line!

Our new cream cheese plant is officially up and running! Over the past 12 months, we’ve been hard at work building a larger and more advanced cream cheese production line to meet the growing demand for our premium-quality products.

With this new facility, we are poised to triple our production capacity, which will not only help us serve our existing customers but also allow us to expand into new international markets and increase our global reach.

This exciting expansion has also created new opportunities within our local community. We have added 10 new positions to the Burra Foods team, and throughout the course of the project, we’ve employed additional labor and partnered with local businesses from the Gippsland area. Supporting and investing in the Gippsland community is a cornerstone of our business, and we remain committed to continuing our presence here in Korumburra.

Our products are highly valued by customers around the world, and much of that is attributed to the exceptional quality of the milk we source from our dedicated local farmers. They are the true heroes behind our ability to produce such high-quality products. Our cream cheese is used in a wide range of applications, including confectionery, bakery goods, and beverages, and we’re proud to play a key role in these industries.

This expansion is just the latest example of Burra Foods’ ongoing commitment to investing in Gippsland and ensuring the continued success of our community and business for years to come.
